In a post, a while back, I wrote about getting 6 rings by giving and stealing back the scroll. The ring is important if you don't already know, because it has regeneration and 100% protection from death spells and other protections. While it is cursed, it doesn't hurt you, as far as I know. It's good to have if you are using the Staff of Haggery (sp) or any other Cursed weapon.

Carg, I agree with you about the vampires in BGII. I ran into three of them in a dark alley trying to murder some thief. He begged me for help, and being the knightly guy that I am, I agreed to help. That was nearly the downfall of my party. I needed some serious healing after that encounter. Very nasty creatures.
