Accustomed to your new quiet and crime-free neighbourhood yet?

It's going to be a bad season for fires this year in BC. We've already used up most of our budget and fire season hasn't even hit yet. :(

Spring was really hot for us here, and now summer is down the drain. Too much rain for me...

That was from a storm a couple days ago. Looked like winter from the hail. This summer sucks.... :(

Johnny just make sure you don't do what a family did that I saw on the news. They moved house and hired a big truck to move their furniture. They left it parked outside overnight with all their stuff in and it got nicked... ouch! :D A bit dumb if you ask me...

LOL, no, we're bringing it inside right away. A few friends are coming over to help carrying, so it shouldn'take too long.

At the moment I am in Winter... I love winter, so nice and cool. It gets way too hot here in the summer.
But that's a shame that summer isn't going to plan for you Link.
I know why don't you make a beach in your own house, fill your lounge up with sand, get a special CD with beach noises on it... put the heater on and get change in your beach clothes... then voila! your own little beach :D

here it is too hot to spend more than an hour outside before you feel your skin falling off from cooking :( and it is still only july, we have to make it through August, whish gets hotter than this

We've been doing pretty good for the last few years...2 years ago was a balanced summer: some rain, more sunshine. Last year was "hell": very hot, no rain, winter came too fast(skipped the autumn rains) and alot of plantlife dried up and died. This year weve had like 4-5 rainy days per week, and the rest sunny, or cloudy atleast. It irks me a bit to not able to spend some beachtime, but we really needed the water(the ground water(or whatever) was at an all time low...we had to drill the wells alot deeper and make tons of new ones aswell...). Just hope there wont be anymore extreme summers in the next 20 years :D :D
