My first ever character that I started in the AD&D world was a ranger. I was pretty much new to the RPG genre and I had no idea how to play the game having no experience with AD&D so I just used a ranger http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

My favourite? Thieves. Especially Assassins. Now that is what AD&D thieves should be like!

In D2 I started with a barb but I got tired of him so I created an Orb Sorceress(using all Ice magic with a lil bit of fire and lightning).
My last 2 times with the game have been with a Sorc!

Why?

1/Cavalier, his abilities are extremely useful to your party.
2/Dwarf Berzerker, the king of hack and slash.
3/Ranger, so much charecter to use, best for roleplaying.

For ToB i played a cleric/mage,worth it just so you can put heal in your chain contingency.

Diablo II: BOW AMAZON FOREVER! they have their downsides, ill admit, such as Duriel (almost all long range guys have trouble with the super enemies like Andariel and Duriel) but out in the wilderness bow amazon is cool.

I usually play a mage-type character, but for some reason, with the BG series, have had a lot of success with non spell casters, Have played a Paladin in BG I, a monk in BG 2 (loved that!) But am currently playing through BG2 again (for the romances) as an Archer and I have to say, he's a real handful... I think I like him best, though the quivering palm is truly the shite!

Elven Fighter/Mage?Thief and Human Fighter my first AD&D characters http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif. Plus when i started bg1 I wanted someone who could handle anything and just carried them over to bg2.

In Diablo 2 I like the necromancer, golems and corpse explosion!

In bg2 i play a monk or a kensai as for diablo2 i dont have it yet but i would prolly play a paladin.
