If I have problems sleeping (rarely), it's usually because I haven't had enough physical exercise and my mind is still awake. Getting to sleep is a matter of making the body's tiredness override the mind's propensity to think about things at all times.
Try getting up and doing a bunch of activities. Pushups, situps, a walk, weights, whatever. Do it for about 20 minutes, give yourself a few minutes to cool down and let your heart rate drop, then go to bed. Always works for me. I'm up still because I'm not done my portion for an exam preparation study group I have tomorrow, uh today. A few more case summaries and off to bed I go. It's only 1:30 here, so I'll get my 6 hours of nap time. |

I heard that goin to shower before bed and/or drinking tea usually helps too. You should try it.

my husband suggested since the doctors tell him to take up to 4 of his pills, I should take another dose....will not do that again, I fell really wierd tihs morning. |
I'd suggest not taking pills, becuase they can damage your stomach if you take them too much or too often. Try drinking tea then.
If everything else fails, go and count sheeps. :D [ 12-05-2004, 11:42 AM: Message edited by: Xen ] |
