If MS think they will make money by releasing their new titles on PC then they will probably do so ( hopefully), but might only do so to get some well needed cash to help their XBox.

For M$ it wouls be more profitable to release games to Xbox than PC, since Xbox is their platform. It seems that M$ thinks that only releasing games to xbox will make nore people buy that junk instead of remain faithful to their PCs. </font>
But the big question is still: Will PC-players buy a XBox just to be able to play Bioware´s games (among others) if they are only released there?
I probably won´t.
</font>
it's not just the bioware games
ther'es loads of games that have been incredibly hyped, and who suddenly we only made for Xbox after MS boght the company
Famous example being Halo

So, think about it logically. Wintel is the real world combination of windows and intel. That is why 'supposedly' intel runs windows better than AMD.
Anyhow, with that thought, M$ would never leave it's main partner out to dry like that. For one, there is not even a single AMD corporate rep on the M$ board. So, it will always be avaible for the PC. But, as we have always the the run of the top dawg games, we must now wait for that little black box thingie to either fail or explode.

I see it this way. If it fails on the cute little box thingie, then we are saved from distressful situations of ever trying to load and play and update patches for some item of ill ability.

Xbox contains an altered Intel processor afaicr

I think you're all over reacting. We will still have great Bioware games, and MS games, and XBox games. I think MS has their hands in more than you know. So what if they now own Bioware. *sheesh* Give me a break.
Was any one nervous when Wizards of the Coast bought TSR? I was a little, but low and behold, nothing changed. This trend of picking on MS is annoying. If it was'nt for them, I am not sure I would have been able to buy this kicka$$ computer I have at the price I got it for, how about you?

Rikard: I couldn't agree more with you. For now I'll just hope Bioware won't go to M$

Microsoft has very little to do with the hardware being cheap
Computers got cheaper because AMD kame with his athlon so Intel had to lower their price for the Pentium
some goes with ATI and Nvidia on graphics cards

Also it's fact that MS games are much more expencive then games of other studio's
abnd it's a fact that all the major productions MS had, are for Xbox, not for PC

When they make a decent RPG for PS2 or X-Box, I will buy one. Not before.

It´s a two edged sword. Microsoft has the power in marketing and that most probably improves the sales, but then they may have too much to say to what BioWare should do.

I easily choose the PS2 over the X-box (and yes, I have played the x-box, before you say anything. ;) ). When the X-box came out here in England it was 300 pounds, which is about 481 dollars, or 437 euros. That alone put me off, but the games didn't really encourage me either, nor the fact that the x-box is about the largest console I've seen in the 21st century (including the controllers!).
Nothing beats a good PC and that's why PC's will always be around, 'cos they're so adaptable and upgradeable. (Well, IMO anyway). It's a weel-known fact that MS are absolute sharks and don't give a monkeys uncle about the quality of their products (ie. Windows of course!!). However, they do make good PC games, if rather costly, but now the x-box is out, I do believe the focus of their production will be on that disastrous piece of technology.

Just my thoughts
