: -) =
: -( = : P = : D = 8 ) = without the blank spaces that is. A thread for all of who you out there who have been wondering for weeks but have been too embarrassed to ask - just like I had been. But thanks to Mrs Virginia, powerposter extraordinaire, I have finally become an insider, too. Thanks, Milady ! So long, Ramon |
|
I just keep collecting them:
;[+]) = Thanks, Charlie ! So long, Ramon |
LOL, madness, sheer madness.
|
Glad to be of help Mr. Cologne! I guess you must have noticed a lot of recent smiley inquires as I did. Ertai, most Adept Wizard, gave me the info, then I passed it on, now you've got the ball and are passing it, and so on and so on!
|
Yes, Milady, passing on the ball is indeed the basic idea behind this thread.
May I explain why I rather not use your official boardname ? Firstly, "Zecke" in German is a bloodsucking little insect that is feared for transmitting meningitis, a tick in English as "babylon" tells me. For sure, nothing I would ever want to associate with you, Milady. Secondly, and even worse, "Zecke" is also the inhumane "nickname" that neofascistic youth groups have for any youth they consider to be "left" like punks, etc.. Once in a while these groups like to engage in something they call "Zeckenjagd", "tick hunt" : they seek out someone that fits their definition of a "Zecke", then chase him down and beat him up (usually up to a point that their victim needs to hospitalized if not worse). Of course, they only do that if there is not anybody around who is even easier to victimize like ethnic minorities, homeless, handicapped ... . Sorry to depress you ! It almost 2 a.m. here, I am off to bed. So long, Ramon |
Ramon: FYI I personally call her LadyWendy instead of Ladyzekke. Wendy 'cause its her name, and Lady 'cause she is one.
BK |
EEK Ramon! I had no idea that my name made you think of all those horrible things! Please know that the history of my nickname is in no relation to bloodsucking, nor neofascistic youth groups or their victims. Just a silly nickname that used to rhyme with an old boyfriend of mine. Please, from now on, call me LadyWendy, as many on this board do. When we finally get a new Board, I will most likely change it to that anyway. Sleep well, friend
|
Sounds like a good deal Ramon!
StealthB - could you explain that in a little more detail? I've been to tgeweb, but got lost at that point. I did enjoy seeing a picture of our webmaster, Ziroc, though! |
I gladly accept that privilege, LadyWendy.
But, please, never again call me Mr. Cologne. I just hate being named after a cheap kind of perfume . So long, Ramon |
: o=
|
Thanks, Valen, that is one of my favourites.
So long, Ramon |
Ziroc downloaded 9 pages of animated gifs to this forum. You need to type img=LOCATION in square brackets where location is where the gif is held(see help). Use the search to find them. eg which is (img=http://www.tgeweb.com/images/forum/icons/wavey.gif) but in square brackets.
|
It's funny but has to be typed as  in another forum that I visit. I been trying to do this one for a little while, plus the blushing one and the confused one with little ??? over its bonce. Any clues? Can't find the shot of Ziroc either...Doh.
|
Charlie, just go to http://tgeweb.com and scroll down the left side to "About the Author" and there he is!
|
Ladyzekke, you can't go to the page just type the location in your text as I explained earlier and the gif will appear in your post. Ziroc posted the location of all the gifs several months back and there are 9 pages in all. My printout is dated 30/11/2000 and is headed New Smiley Icons*Awesome stuff*. If someone knows the exact link please post.
NB Under 'View' on the taskbar, if you select 'Source' it shows you exactly how others include gifs and where they are stored. |
Just bumping this to the first page
|
Thanx Ramon
i didnt know how to make faces before u told us |
Just a bump for "The Silent One" .
So long, Ramon |
Bump, bump....BUUUMMMPPP
|
LadyLady, the ball returns...
How is done the blue sad one ?? i mean the first smily in yoricks post... |
=: (
to get it on a lower line like yorick did put (sub)at the start and (/sub) at the end but with [] instead of () |
Alright! Thanks Valen! Did you get that Ertai?
= = = |
Ooops!! I guess the equals sign (=) isn't included. Duh!
|
Sorry for not making that clear.
these are all i know how to do, can anyone tell me how to get the others like the one with the gun? Btw has anyone noticed that there is an new board on the forum? |
New board??
|
It called Dungen craft unlimited adventures forever. check it out
Oh i can also do |
That sounds pretty cool, guess I might have to find more free time.
|
I would know how to make them! Does : D = [pic of smiley] mean that it is some kind of code some where...Does this have to do with the, "...you can use ultraboard code in your message." you would see on the reply to topic page??? You all but The Silent One seem to know and we are left out! [Yes, yes, I will post this to main thread also]...!
|
Smileys'r'us thank you Stealth Bomber.
Also found this great gifs |
Awww, poor Pikachu!!!
|
Kylle for most of them you just have to put the parts next to each other.
ie : ) = : - ) = : D = : - D = : ( = : - ( = : P = : o = 8 ) = 8 - ) = ; ) = ; - ) = ^ ^ = Minus the spaces between each part. The ones from my link in my last post need to be put in am image box which is done by (img=~) but ~ is the location and replace () with []. As of it where the code gets them from, i think Ziroc progamed them in, when he made the board. |
But thanks! That would answer me!
|
http://www.tgeweb.com/images/forum/mad.gif in a image box gives you which i don't know if you can do otherwise, perfect for letting someone know your mad.
http://www.tgeweb.com/images/forum/rolleyes.gif in a image box gives which i think can be done the other way but don't know how. Don't know what to use it for yet, anyone else know |
