Yeah...I fail to see how this war could have done otherwise anyway.
|
Stating the bloody obvious really!
|
Well, not obvious for everyone it seems.
|
Make this point of view as your:
The richest nation (United States of America) is invading muslims nations, they are helping Israel in their war against Palestina, USA is a cristian nation, the poor people who live in muslims nations are used like human bombs for the muslims cleric because they say them USA want to kill them because they are muslims (¬_¬) The poor people havent any solution, their bodies could be used as weapons, and here we have got the terrorists. If terrorists kill occidental person, the occidental nations kill potential "terrorists" persons, and how the occidental nations killed potential "terrorists", the genuine terrorists will kill more occidental persons. It's a vicius circle. Shaide |
Well, lets make it official by renaming this thread "The Obvious Thread".

Maybe if the same effort was being made to defeat the head of Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan first then Al-Qaeda would not be as big a problem. Anyone remember the name of the guy who bombed the world trade towers? Osama.. whats is name..
Remind me G.W.Bush, are we not supposed to be concentrating 100% of our efforts on bringing OBL to justice? Lest we forget? [ 05-27-2004, 10:41 AM: Message edited by: wellard ] |
wellard, osama isnt in afghanistan any more, if he was we would very likely have found him. in fact, al quada's operating presence in afghanistan is VERY minimal, if at all.
second, shaide (and whoever wrote shamrock's article), i reject the idea that muslims attacked america because "america had it coming." that idea, while maybe the justification that terrorists used is sick and wrong. we may very well be the wealthiest nation in the world... but at the same time, we also have the largest amount of aide going out to other nations. jealousy is not a justification for terrorism, its a vice of a small people with no values. there is NO, and i repeat, NO reason to succomb to terrorist or believe that the events of 9/11 were somehow justified for ANY reason. you know, for some bad guys its enough to know that they're bad. you dont have to psychoanalyze everyone out there. |

Numbers don't make AQ strong. Do some research on it -- while numbers may have increased, the leadership has been sundered. Attacks are coming with less planning and in less concert. They may all/most be AQ attacks, but they resemble attacks by disjointed individual cells these days.

well, masklinn, granted that the terrorists are from a radical islamic cell, you would have a hard time proving that those who committed 9/11 were'nt muslim... not saying we should blame ALL muslims, but certain radical terrorist offshoots of their religion have to go.
for that matter, terrorist off shoots of any religion need to go, and yes, there are or at least have been christian terrorists |
I just wonder where they come up with such information. Does Al Qaeda keep records now, which show their current number of footsoldiers ? Do new recruits have to register now, so we all know their numbers have swollen ?
In other words.... what a load of crap. Their support may have increased, but a bunch Jihad yelling teenagers aren't active Al Qaeda terrorists yet. What a useless piece of information. |
