OK, I defeat Irenicus and I have all my cool new Bhaal child abilities from opening the door, but when the game transitions over to ToB, my party is split up and I can't rejoin them. Half are in the sacred grove and the other half (including my character) are in the palace. Since your party can't be split when venturing to new areas, I can't leave the Elven city.

The only way to get around this is to import a game from SoA, however, in doing this, I lose all my Bhaal advantages and all the experience from killing the demons and Irenicus. Is there any way around this? I'd like to get what I deserve for killing Irenicus....

This is a known issue and is fixed by the official patch. go to www.bioware.com and find it.
