Silly question, but I'm just about to sit down and watch Minority Report (so I cannae go and search for him), and I was wondering what the name of the mayor is, and also where abouts in Beregost he is located?

Have you looked on a different board (map)?
Notice that are no temples in Beregost. Seems like there must be one close. Maybe the mayor is a cleric...

I didn't think Beregost had a mayor, at least not one you could meet in the game.

Theres a Mayor of Beregost? thats news to me... only mayor i recall was the one in naskel

mad=dog 06-06-2005 02:36 AM

To old time gamers who didn't know he was the mayor...
- He hates wyverns. Will pay handsomely for a head.
- He's quite eager to see the end of Bassilus.
- He's doesn't like to be touched. He is super important!
- Like modern politicians he likes to live a bit away from the people he governs.

ZFR 06-06-2005 05:43 AM

Noooooooooo...

The mayor of Beregost is the bald guy carrying a hamster outside the Nashkel inn

Also, he doesn't know how to pronounce the name of his own god in his own gaudy temple.

SixOfSpades 06-06-2005 04:30 PM

But boy, he sure does love the wimmin, though.

Lavindathar 06-06-2005 05:50 PM

Ah right, his name popped up in dialogue, but I never knew that Keldath Ormlyr was the mayor of Beregost though...

hahahahaha hilarious
He *is* super important. Remember, he's gaurded by sirine chicks! Who could afford that?

Lord Michael 06-07-2005 11:46 AM

I love it when he says that! I wish I could get the drunken Lich impersonator outside to go into the temple and stumble around. That'd get his goose!

Lord Michael 06-07-2005 11:50 AM

ZFR - If Minsc were the mayor of Beregost, there would have been NO iron shortage.... Butt kicking for goodness!

True Lord Michael,

But, if my aunty had a d*ck she'd be my Uncle.

Lord Michael 06-07-2005 12:48 PM

True as well. Just speaking hypothetically.
Personally, I don't think Minsc would make much of a politician... or maybe we just need more politicians like Minsc...

So was I....

And I don't think he'd do very well to be honest....we'd all be in war. A beserker politician isn't the best, IMPO.

Lord Michael 06-07-2005 01:54 PM

Wait... don't we have a berserker politician for president here in the U.S.? Bush is not quite as intelligent as Minsc though... a couple points lower on wisdom as well...

Lavindathar 06-07-2005 02:53 PM

I wouldn't class him as a Beserker, just

Naieve
Easily Led
Gullible
Thick as F*ck

That'd do.

Lord Michael 06-07-2005 03:18 PM

That works for me.
Hey... is this thread hijacking? If so, sorry 'bout that.

Lavindathar 06-07-2005 05:25 PM

It is, lol, but it's cool.

The thread has served it's purpose as the question was answered!!
