FF3 Query
 

Playing through Final Fantasy 3 on the DS.

I have noticed that the sword Wightslayer has disappeared from my inventory. I had it equipped when in the Sealed cave and defeated the Djinn. After being transported out I find that I no longer have it.

I have tried googling but find no mention of this problem.

Any ideas please ?

Are we talking FF3 (FF3), or FF3 (FF6)?

There is a difference. The original FF2 and 3 were released originally only in Jap IIRC, They were made for the NES system. Then they made FF4 for the SNES which was FF2 in the US and FF6, which was FF3. FF5 was never released in the US in it's original form.

But FF7, and FF8 was FF7 and FF8 correct. So in North America we count like most three year olds 1,2,3,7,8. I sometimes wish the powers that be wouldn't try to dumb things down for us and call it what it is. Gesh!

I have been hoping they would release some of the old FFs on the virtual console.

To confuse things more, SquareEnix re-released some old Final Fantasy games on the Game Boy Advance under their original names.

They released FF1, FF2, FF4, FF5, and FF6 but not FF3 which they released on the DS instead.
