I know that for some it's just a long weekend, or perhaps nothing at all. But for some of us, it's the most important day in our Religion.

So, I was raised in a strict Roman Catholic family. I went to Catholic school, was extremely pious, the whole nine. I left the Church right before I was confirmed. How you do.

At this point, my entire immediate family has followed my lead... None into my current faith, but all have beliefs that are more or less in line with my own... Lots of "Very spiritual but not religious" and what have you.

This Easter there was a whole to do about where they were going to have Easter, was I going to come, yadda yadda yadda... Agonizing over it! Feeling guilty! My thinking is, if you're going to feel GUILTY about it, just be Catholic again so you save your immortal soul! If nobody technically celebrates Easter at this point and they're just looking for a way to get together, why not just pick a few days at a few different locations and oh no, I've gone cross-eyed.

I hope everyone had a happy easter. This year I hid the eggs filled with goodies outside for the annual hunt since it was nice. Having kids, it is fun hiding the eggs and having them find them. Funny thing is if your not sure if they found them all or not and they don't add up you have to do your own hunt forgetting were you placed them. fortunatly they added up to the correct amount. LOL.
