I'm not sure if I'm encountering a bug in the Neverwinter Archives in the Blacklake District. I have answered each of the four questions in each of the books and the doors to the inner archive have opened. When I enter the room however, there are four githyanki inside - a warlock and three soldiers. They are in non-hostile mode, but I cannot speak to them as they have no dialogue and don't respond. I read an archive book in there which has some information about Ammon Jeero's descendant Shandra. The game then gives me the option to go to her farm. But what do I do about the non-hostile githyanki? Are they supposed to be there or not?

There should be a cutscene and they shold attack, but if they don't all the better.. [img]smile.gif[/img]

OK, I'll just kill them then.

You can kill them without them first being hostile? How? I've attempted to fireball enemies several times, only to discover that it's as if I didn't do anything, because there is dialogue to come.

I haven't tried it yet - I imagine you would just attack them by right-clicking? (at least that's the way you would do it in NWN).

I'm currently playing the OC for the first time and have just encountered this very same bug - unfortunately the thread doesn't actually state whether or not a solution was found.

The Githyanki in the vault room can't be killed or interacted with in any way. In fact, forced attacks don't seem possible at all. Hopefully I'm missing something very obvious...otherwise I'm just going to try my last save game.

Any ideas?

Upon reloading and doing the archives again, the Githyanki were still immobile and non-interactive in the vault. However, the archive book had strangely appeared so I was able to sneak in, grab the info and continue on to the next part of the main plot.
