What I'm particularly referring to is the bit on multiclassed characters and high level abilities and all.

no kidding. I figured he'd at least mention something about the dualed cleric/mage so you'd have the extra cleric support as well as a full mage. But the bit about the multiclasses getting those high abilities sooner (level-wise, not xp-wise) was what got me. That's kind of messed up. Almost convinced me to play a half-elf cleric/mage rather than a human cleric/mage.

A gnome Cleric/Illusionist is looking better all the time http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
Advantages: Robe of Vecna + Amulet of Power = quick casting of Heal, which the author says takes too long; get to be an Illusionist but still case some good Necromancy (i.e. Animate Dead); earlier access to all the fun high-level abilities; high Wisdom for casting Wish (but capped at 17 I think? --- oh well there's an Ioun stone which will fix that right?). -- Nifft |
