GM CEO forced out as U.S. readies more auto aid
Ouch. I guess if the government is footing the bill...
Wonder what would happen if the union was told to resign? Quote:

Union Joe would never let that happen. Of course the workers and their unions, don't make the decisions which lead to a company losing 95% of it's value and needing bailut funds. If heads didn't roll, Obama's political enemies would be squawking about just the same. Much Ado About Nada!
I heard on the TV news a bit ago the gov doesn't think Chrysler is worthy of bailoutout loans and will let them go bankrupt. My family is buying a new vehicle soon and we have had at least one Chevy in the garage since I can recall. I'm shocked and a more than a little humbled that it now looks like Ford is running my type of business, one that doesn't need more bailout funds. Times, they are changing! |

Reads like Fiat is going to take on Chrysler debt through a merger.
