Headphone recommendations
 

Hey everybody, random question here - a friend of mine wants a good set of ear-covering headphones for his birthday and I could use recommendations. He wears headphones for hours every day at work, so they need to not only have good sound quality but also be comfortable and sturdy enough for long periods of use.

I've only ever used earbuds and reviews online seem to go back and forth. Anyone here have a particular brand or model you've used heavily and like?

The Bose QuietComfort line is very good (I own the QuietComfort 15 model). They require a single tripleA battery for use however. Also they are NOT cheap.

IF you're going for comfort, I'd look to someone like Bose or Sennheiser. That's where they've made their mark...
