ok i know where to find it. i killed the lich ages ago and cant remember any techniques and tactics i used to kill it. my dad is real stuck help plz??

Go to adventurers mart in waukeens promenade, buy protection from undead scroll, use +3 or better weapons, use spells above lvl 5. Happy Sunraying!

you might want to just wait until your party is a little higher level so you can kill him easier, just a suggestion. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Get a stealthed thief wearing the ring of invisibility to backstab the lich. If the first one doesn't kill him, use the ring of invisibility and backstab him again. The lich should die and you get a shiny Daystar to boot.

Get him to cast spells at you, then when they're almost done, leave the room. Rinse and repeat :D . If he gets into melee combat, almost anyone can handle him. ;)

moose is right, i use this technique whenever i encounter the bully. go inside and wait till he cast spells. attack him if you can till you cant stand it anymore. go out the den and rest. go back and attack immediately before he casts spells on you. keep daystar whenever you encounter vampires. i killed a vampire with 1036 hp damage to it. enjoy!!

Except that the Lich's Spell Trigger (which contains Stoneskin & Mirror Image) will fire the instant he sees an enemy, making a second Backstab worthless. And you'd have to wait for 12 hours for that Stoneskin to wear off.

1) Make the Lich waste all his spells by entering & leaving the room, thus depriving him of a target. He might still summon his Pit Fiend, though, and he also might follow you upstairs--or he AND the Pit Fiend might follow.

2) Give everybody good melee weapons, use Chant & Haste, and rush him.

With both tactics, starting things off with a Backstab helps, of course.
