I used to play BG I as a multiplayer game where I controlled all the characters, now I wanted to do the same with BG II but it wasn't possible, is it because I no longer have a (what's the word here?) multiplayer net card(??)

You can start a multiplayer game by selecting a tcp/ip as the protocol and press create game.

Supply the session and player name. Select new game. Assign all created characters to yourself.

<font color="gold">Tip: In Multiplayer, loading takes longer time. This can be quite annoying at times.
Go to your BG2-directory (usually C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SOA), and locate the folder called 'mpsaves'. Open it, select the game you're running, copy it, close the folder, open the folder called 'saves', right-click on a free spot, and select paste. Now you can play the game with your own characters in single player. ;) </font>

i use serial and you dont have to make any conections to the internet or anyhting
