You see my friend said there is a class called the Dual Swordsman. What so great about it ability to equip 2 handed swords on each HAND!!!!! I was like whoa! Is there such a thing? (Be great if the programmers of the game made a class like that though!)

No, there is no such class, only the specalization choice of dual wielding, which allows you to wield two one-handed weapons at once with no shield.

U can't use 2 handed swords in each hand no matter what you are. Sorry.

As for dual swordsman, he either thought of Kensai, Berserker or Ranger (straight class).

P.S. I know it's [img]graemlins/offtopic.gif[/img] but in Arcanum: Of steamworks and magick Obscura, u can try wielding a 2 handed sword (Broadsword, Claymore etc.) and a shield. :D

I think that your friend is mixing up Diablo2 here with BG2. Yes, in D2 the barbarians can use two 2H swords and dual-wield these, however this is not possible in BG-series. Not with the player chars anyhow [img]smile.gif[/img]

A Half-Orc barbarian with 19 STR dual-wielding... how would you share the profeciency stars?

I would go for Flails if you're a Barbarian.

I just can't imagine a Barabarian, let alone a Half Orc, using swords.
Flails, on the other hand, seems to fit, RP-wise.

Flails are also an excellent pick, power-wise.
The Flail of Ages is one of the best weapons in the game, and wielding the Defender of Easthaven in the off hand will grant you permanent 40% resistance to physical damage, turning you into an unstoppable damage absorber. [img]smile.gif[/img]

but it would be cool in the BG series you can do such a thing imagine Minsc wielding two two handed swords at the same time in bezerk = UNSTOPPABLE WarRRIOR
