Well? I want to start a multiplayer game with my friend, and he's a rook, so I wanna give him some armor or something so he can hold his own until he gets used to it. So, how do I import my guy and keep my items?

After starting a game just reimport your characters. Theres another way where you drop your equipment on the ground, but i cant remember how to do that.

How do I re-import my characters? I know how to import them, but not re-import.

First after starting a multiplayer game export your self created characters except the one with all the items, and save. Then load the save game . You should come to this interface: http://home.iprimus.com.au/unrealpow...iplay_menu.jpg
Click on a character name and then click delete. Then click create and then import on the character creation screen. Select your character. Of course remember to have this option checked under Permissions->options: http://home.iprimus.com.au/unrealpowerhouse/options.jpg

What? I want to import a character from my single player game to our new Mplayer game we're gonna start... should I just copy th single player file over to mplayer files, then export?

Here is the trick with dropped items on the ground.
Begin the game by importing your protagonist with all wanted items. Start the game. At the very beginning of the game, when the screen becomes black before loading the first scene and before you hear the cry of your protagonist, pause the game. This can be done because the controls are working that time. More precisely, the keyboard interface is working. Also, the mouse will work in your inventory screen.
Now, you have a (paused) black screen. Use the keyboard and go to your inventory. Drop all items on the ground. Close the inventory and unpause the game. The game will continue as usual - with one difference: the items you have dropped on the ground will be there when you gain control of your protagonist
Note: You must pause the game before the cry because the cry is exactly the moment when all items of your protagonist are taken away.

That also will work if you wish to rest at the start to get your spells, without Imoen whinging. :D
