My Sorcerer is level 17 and is at 2950000 since I have entered the elven city and I have already killed the dragon, and am about to head to the tree of life. I am thinking it could be a bug because Jaheria is at level 13/13 and you would think she would gain more experiance but she has not either. Viconia is at level 21 or something. My other three party memers are stuck at 17 as well.

Have I just reached the experiance cap or has something quirky happened to my game?

With Jaheira not gaining levels, you have to remember that with multiclassed characters *all* their classes count to the XP Cap. [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>

In the other words, the sum of your Jaheira's XP has reached the XP cap. The same will affect all multiclass and dualclass characters. Add XP for all classes of a particular character, both active and inactive, together to see whether the particular character has reached the XP cap (2950000 XP).

Ohh man, then multi-classing is not good... i'll have to start a new game... :(

So does that mean you cannot reach the highest level of a class, when multi-classing???
How about when you dual class, is that the same???

You still add the xp from both classes to determine if you reach the cap. If you hav TOB the cap is 8 milion. There are cap removers available.

If you are multi classing an experiance cap remover sounds like a good idea. I didn't notice the experiance cap in my first game because I didn't reach it till almost the end of the game. I now have downloaded the experiance cap remover for my third game although it would have been nice to have with my sorcerer. Although I guess it is not like he needed it or anything but I want some more spells.

with the xpcap remover, multiclassed characters(read Aerie) kicks ass in the later levels. Mage/Cleric is my favourite combo and shes got lots of spells =)
