You wont get any arcane (mage) spells with a ranger/cleric. You will however recieve every divine spell (with a few exceptions?) of every level, upon gaining the ability to cast spells of that level.

If I interpret your question correctly Throrgrim, I'd say Armour of Faith (Level 1) is a must have. I always have Anomen and Jaheira memorize that as soon as I get them, then when Minsc can cast spells, his first spell is always Armour of Faith.

Also, Sanctuary (Level 1). It is a good one. As far as I know, it can't be dispelled by any enemies. Which means if you can manage to cast it, it will be a great time to buff yourself up in the middle of a fight, because it prevents enemies from targeting you.

Also, when you get high enough, Regeneration (Level 7), because it is good for in middle of a fight. If your HP is low, cast Sanctuary, then cast Regeneration. A great Necromantic spell.

If you're soloing then Draw Upon Holy Might (lvl 2) is essential. If you're with a party it's still extremely good if you use him ranger/cleric as a frontliner.

djg, thats exactly wot i meant! wot SPELLS should i learn? (hence y i wrote spells in my first post)
