Do you prefer to be a goody goody two shoes Paladin who strives for justice and all that unNotty stuff

OR

Are you person who believes in the (b)BALANCE(\b) of forces between good and evil. Doesn't want to be a too good joy happy dull Paladin or a Evil Vile SELFISH son of a mother

OR

Do you prefer to be a EVAL Person who does things for his or her thing way for their personal gain. Who has the GUTS to do things that Paladins would call Notty!

P.S. I don't mean this in real life I mean when you are creating a character

P.S.2. You must have noticed I don't like Paladins very much (since I have a grudge against them)

Hi Sythe, To tell you the truth I'm not much of a paladin lover myself, come on..... Keldron with his cheating wife and always helm this helm that jeez.... And even worse just a plain old fighter no spells, no thieving skills nothing it makes me mad. And Anomen should I start on him ? http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon17.gif, He whines 24/7, worse than a five year old after walking ten miles, And to think about it I end up romancing with him....yuck! Just thinking about it makes me sick. I my self am chaotic neutral nor good nor bad whatever looks good to me...hehehe lets not say that I am a mix of thief/mage/fighter so I dont rely on anyones help...lol. Best working combo for me. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon31.gif

hmmm, a druid would have a hard time of choices... since there is only the option of true neutral (i would prefer neutral good which is the case for my necromancer and socerer.)

How dare you make ads for SONY ;)

But anyway I like being the evil Casa-Nova like blade. Charming intelligent dangerous and convincing - you know your local demi-god off the block!

I like it because from a role-playing facade I play with some good party members (minsc mebe anomen Aerie) who are to gullible to see through my facade to understand that they are just my pawns.

It also (still from a roleplaying point of view) allows me to do the 'good' quests so that My rep goes UP prices come DOWN and I can better betray the populace afterwood...

when creating a mage, i nearly always choose Lawful Evil. it just somehow fits to mage. what i mean is, i think a mage should be excatly like that. he might work with the annoingly good paladin if there is something to be gained. he might also fire a lightning bolt on the paladin if its worth it and he no longer needs the pally. mages in general, at least i think so, are power hungry, sometimes bitter to the rest of the world for being too weak and scrawny to be anything else(for example, Raistlin was like that). i just think that a mage cannot become really powerful, without sacrifices. and if a sacrifice is needing your mothers heart for some important experiment, then the mage just sacrifices his mother in the name of science, if hes feeling particularly "good" that day. When creating a fighter, i usually take either chaotic neutral or chaotic good(a fighter needs to be at least a little crazy). for a thief or cleric, i just pick the one i want for the moment.

I always end up taking either true neutral, chaotic neutral or chaotic good. Yoshimo is my kinda guy.

:bright-light and angel voices singing: Always Lawful Good! (Combined with friends HUGE discounts at stores!)

I myself prefer to be Neutral and I took the alinment test and I was truely neutral at that is quite accrurate in real life. Seeing heros in movies doing goody good stuff all the just makes me sick to the stomach. I always hope the badguy kills the hero somehow but NOOOOOOOOO the heros almost always live! So I prefer Heros that were former villians (like Vegeta in DBZ) those that are a little Sour at times. But I don't want to be a bad guy either. Being bad hurts my reputation besides its almost always impossible to do something too bad cause my concience always stops me.

Black Paladin 12-22-2002 09:42 PM

paladins are my fav class BUT after a while it does feel good to wear that helm
on BG1 that changes your alignment to the oppisite (lawful good-caotic evil)

so i am a paladin

Calaethis Dragonsbane 12-22-2002 09:47 PM

Hmm. none of the above I guess, my char has his own personal code - usually good, but, doesnt HAVE follow the laws to get it - also, some actions arnt what you'd call paladin pure white actions. I prefer the Neutral Good Allignment - more freedom. from a roleplaying sense. Edit, closest would be I guess, that balance, but being evil isnt kinda my style. lol, lets just say I have my own version of good ;)
