All right I know about 3d4 and all that stuff how does it count to damage. I am unsure when I see
Damage:1D8 Can someone tell me how much damage it does oh and another thing I already know it means rolling one dice with a 8 sided dIE! |
1-8 damage. rDn is easier to think of as: r times one dice roll with sides n
so 4D9 is four times one dice with 9 sides. So 4-36 damage. unless i'm totally off which i probably am |
no, your not off. If a spell or weapon does 1D8, the easiest way to think of it is to multuply the numbers together to get the maximum you can do. therefor, a weapon hitting 1D8 can hit for a maximum of 8 (1 times 8 = 8), and a minimum of 1. So, a 3D6 could hit for a maximum of 18.
