Gang, just before I left the Underdark I wanted to do the Demogorgan sacrifice - I trot my summoned monster up to the statue - nothing. I kill the summoned creature -- still nothing!

So, please, what am I doing wrooonnnng!?

it may be the TYPE of sacrafice you are offering. I've only done this twice, both with an animal summun I or II. I've tried spider spawn with that statue or skelaton and neither worked.

Actually spiders and monster summons should work, they have for me before, maybe there's something else wrong.

Yup, *any* creature should suffice. So perhaps there's some other bug in the game?
Thankfully, that's not a vital plot area of the game; you'd just miss out on some very interesting items.

Please spoil me -where is this altar and what does it do and what do you get?

I've tried a dog and a hoggoblin warrier. Looks like my 'offerings' weren't good enough.

As for the location - its in the Koa-Tuo section located practically on the west side of your screen when you're exploring the Underdark Caverns. I think it's about halfway up the screen between the bottom up the map and the Gnomes' city. However your map option doesn't flag it so it's trial and erro till you find the hot spot.

Sorry to keep pressing guys, but what goody(ies) do you get from the sacrifice - and/or what nasty things happen??

The only thing I can think of is to make sure the summon gets on the platform at the base of the statue.
