You can get Keldorn back after a week or so isn't it? (not really sure about it though) but isn't he at the back chamber of the Most Radiant Hard High Hall after a while you have send him back to his wife and children?

You can give him a free week, then he waits in Radiant heart.
Or you can retire him for good. Then he is no more available.
