I'm starting a play-created party and i have 7 chars i want to fit into it, so I need help picking which are the best 6.

I'n pretty sure i will have:
Sorcerer
Kensai->Mage
Fighter/Thief
Ranger/Cleric
Inquisitor

I also like monks and archers, but am not sure which to fit it. I'm pretty fighter heavy so I was thinking archer. Any suggestions? Heck if you want throw something completely different at me. Also, I know there are really only enough good katanas in the game for one person to specialize in them. DO i give them to my Fighter/Thief to backstab with, or my Kensai->Mage to use w/ grand mastery?

Thanks

Well, you could always throw in a Berserker or a Barbarien, just for when you have to fight mages who cast imprisonment or maze.

Little here, but I hope you will play the game on Insane because with this home-made party of yours, your really going for power-gaming.. IMHO :D .

Either go for a monk or barbarian to make the circle go round.. ;)

Yeah, I just beat the game with an NPC party and figured it might be kinda fun to try one of my own creation. And yeah I might play it on insane, we'll have to see.

XERO knows what hes talking about. I guess an inquistor would give some challenge but if you want an altimate power house make that a cavalier. Add the monk to the party instead of the K\M and then u can add the archer!

Take a druid, if you have ToB. There high level abilities kick ass.

Or you could leave a spot open for NPC's. That way you could pick them up and do their quests. And if you pick up one for good install a modded one like Solaufein. He is awesome! And you get two or three more tough battles with him in the group that a party like that would be ideal for. Have fun.
