Since a sorcerer spends little to no time learning spells, isn't it logical that he could become a formidable fighter at the same time? Why are there no sorc/fighters? It seems only logical that a sorc would want to combine his natural spellcasting abilities with another class.

cause they'd be amazingly powerful, sorcerers are the most powerful class anyway imagine them with very high hit points and lower thac0 and fighter hlas

I am imagining it.

That's a pretty good point actually. All the more reason you should play D&D as a break from BG2... cause you could arguably do it instead of just thinking about doing it, if you convince your DM it should be allowed, that is.
In fact I think the only reason it isn't allowed is because, as stated, it would be too overpowered. Not that it's impossible, just too powerful. Stupid game character balancing... pfft |
It can be done.. maybe WeiDU can make a mod for it :D ..
but then again he would be Over-Powerd... but it could be a nice xtra class though.. :D |
you CAN do it in 3rd edition rules (ie NWN or IWD2), but I prefer 2nd edition rules (BG1-BG2)
