I get the impression that to play online or join a game I have to have some form of high speed internet access such and cable. Otherwise what am I doing wrong. I see the game, I click on the game, my computer locks up. anybody who can help please respond. If your in the topeka, ks area let me know.

You need to download the directx7 patch. This solves a conflict between directx 7 and baldur's gatewhich prevents you from joining multiplayer games. You can download it from www.fileplanet.com
