is there anyway that you can steal from the coppercorneT? because they have some real useful weapons that my partey could use but i am just a bit to lazy to use all my cash then go and find some more. it would be so great if you could steal from the adventurers mart though because my theif is as high as it gets.

If you're that desperate for cash, and too lazy to spend what's already in your wallet (not like all the gold you've racked up is meant to be spent on these items or anything, heaven forbid), simply steal magical items from shopkeepers outside the Coronet and sell them to the various thief fences in the game. Now you have more money, and you can either buy the items or keep raking in the cash.

Hate to break it to you, but most RPG games follow this format:
--In the beginning, you have nothing. Go out and kill the boatloads of weak enemies to earn pennies.
--Save your pennies to buy better items.
--Use your better items to kill harder enemies for the much better items they have.
--Use the much better items to end the game.

There is no "get rich quick" in real life, and usually not in roleplaying. There's a reason why you earn your gold, you know. ;)

it would be so great if you could steal from the adventurers mart though because my theif is as high as it gets.

Let me see...this place is devoted to the goddess of merchants and trading, is known throughout the city as the place to buy merchandise, and is crawling with Amnish soldiers. Of course it's going to be easy to steal stuff.

Yes, jamalez, you CAN steal from the Coppor Coronet....but you have to drink a BUNCH of Potions of Thievery first - at least 3, maybe 4 depending on your Pick Pocket skills.

Good luck and Happy Pilfering!

what about stealin from the adventures mart? also, what is the deal with the wyrvan in the back of the mart? is that something later in the game?

Unfortutely, you CANNOT steal from the Adventurer's Mart. The icon for Stealing does NOT appear at the bottom...so you either have to pay for the items or do without. I've noticed a couple of stores are like this. :(

Adventurer's Mart. You can steal scrolls from the scroll smuggler in the back of the mart. You cannot steal from Ribald's shop (you never get the option to steal) but you can steal from Ribald himself. I cannot remember now whether you can steal from Deidre but I think you cannot steal from her as well.

Saddley...No you cannot steal from the Bonus Merchants (Deidre and Joluv), if you could, it will give you some tremendously powerfull items for nothing... that should be ''cheap'' won't it :D ?
