I am heading to the graveyard, and since ano can wear the necklace (protection from energy drain) I thought i'd see how well he can tank for me. I also have jaheria, so she can do back up healing during the fights. I have ano set up with guants of dex, + 2 ring, helm of defense, ring of earth protection and the flail from D'arnise, His AC is down to neg 7 and he has 107 HP(highest of the group).
What do you all think? Will he be able to do enough damage to keep the vamps attention on him? Will Jaheria be enough healing power alone to last through fights?

Yeah, he'll last long enough with those numbers. And as long as Jaheira has some decent healing spells (such as Cure Serious Wounds and Cure Critical Wounds) you should be able to whoop them vampire asses

Try summoning, get the vamps attention to the summons first

Summons are indeed a good idea as well. Also try and get MoD +2 as soon as possible; it is extremely good against all undead, and therefore vampires too

Two words - Chaotic Commands (you don't want your tank Dire Charmed, do you ;) ).

MoD + 2.. I'm not up to speed with all the lingo just yet, I'm assuming this means mace of destruction or something similar? I haven't come across that mace yet I don't think.. unless thats the one used in the crom faer *sp Hell i'm still trying to figure out what IIRC means LOL

IIRC = if I recall correctly

MoD = Mace of Disruption. It is actually a +1 weapon, though it strikes as though it had higher plusses. It may be upgraded to +2 by Cromwell.

You should find it in the quest that you're on now. To upgrade it you need illithium ore, which can be obtained during the Sir Sarles quest. The mace itself can slay undead with one hit if they fail their saving throw; the upgraded version makes its wielder immune to level drains.

</font>
YOINK? You've made how many posts and that's your answer? Shame on you! I've hardly even payed the game that much and just from reading this forum so much I'm almost certain that the MOD is indeed a +2 weapon before the upgrade... +4 afterwards. The level drain thing I think is upgraded Azuredge. Tho I could be COMPLETELY blowin smoke out my booty. Verification, anyone?

ADD: Actually I think you're right now that I look it up... and rather than delete this post, I"ll just leave it so that I may be humbled :(
