Guys, r there any GOOD katanas in SOA? Other than the CF I mean... because I want to start a Kensai(I dont like using Spellcasters), and want to dual wield Katanas with the axe that kills Undead(forgot its name) and Skull Crusher. But I also want to dual wield Katanas... so can u guys tell me anything? Thanks..

Yes, there are good katanas, even more so if you have ToB or a few mods...

There is a Katana +2 in the game which you can gain rather soon. Next acceptable katana is, IIRC in the Asylum. Nevertheless, Celestial Fury is the only katana +3 in SoA. If we take into account that you will need +3 weapons at least often in the game, then a decision "only katanas" isn't a good idea.

I know, so I'm gonna dual wield Skull Crusher, MoD+2, A something(axe usable by good people) and Frostreaver for Trolls.

The Tactics mod has one great katana... Sanchuudoku, an acid based katana...pretty damn powerfull... :D but that one is only available if you have the Imp. Tactics Mod installed (WeiDU)

With the Imp. Items mod you can make your CF a +5 instat of a +3 weapon... ;) real nice.

TDD also adds a nice katana IIRC... not sure though </font>

If you have Tob put a couple of stats in scimitar/wazakishi/ninjato. You can find some very good ones in The first city and IIRC a good one outside of watchers keep.

A katana +2 is available in the Bodhi's Lair in the plain vanilla SoA. You can gain the katana in Chapter 3, both when you side with Aran Linvail (after a fight) and when you side with Bodhi (without a fight).

Unfortunately, the game won't let you dual wield Azuredge (the axe in question) because it can be thrown also.

There is one "decent" Katana in Bodhi's Lair, a good one in Spellhold, and a great one in Diedre's store (Bonus Merchants). Apart from that, CF is the only one in SoA.

ToB brings us a good Wakizashi in Saradush, and a very nice one inside Watcher's Keep, and there's also a very nice Katana, but it's very late in the game.

Any ideas?
