hi i installed ascension mod improved itmes upgrade soulafien mod tactics mod and happygroup mod oh and npc flirt pack and it worked fine till teh last instal happy group mod i think i did something wrong there...maybe misplaced the files but anyway when i start the game it says

An Assertion failed in Chitin.cpp at line number 1628 Programmer says:Error initializing key table,bad key file

i dont understand a word...but if you do please help me beacuse i cant remove bg to and install it agaon then it says couldnt find needed file or somethin like that so i cant play and i cant reinstall or remove completly is there a thing that cleanses it from all mods? i really need help i must play my favorite game or ill go crazy=(

I see on their Known Issues page that under some circumstances, you may need to do a manual uninstall of BG2, and they give directions for so doing.

I cant see how misplacing the files would cause any damage. But the fact that this problem appeared when you installed that happy group patch is suggestive. To remove it, delete the files listed in the readme from your override folder.

It possible, although I doubt it, that happy group overrode a file from another mod. In fact, I dont doubt it, but I doubt it would cause this problem.

The fact that Bg cant find a file when you try and uninstall it is more likely the source of your trouble. Which file is it complaining about?

it dosent specify the excat file but its says that it is missing an support file..
