I want to make a party so I can have fun without dieing constantly. It doesn't have to be power gaming party like 18Stre 18Dex 18Con stats on a fighter.. but I do want it a halfway decent party. I'll play the party from the start of SoA to the end of ToB.

I know i want an Assasin and some fighter type for my main charecter after that I'm up for suggestions.
1.(Main Charecter) Fighting class (one that can get Nalia's Keep)
2. Assasin (will handle finding and setting traps.)
3.
4.
5.Character from game(For the quests soon as quest done I drop them)
6.Character from game (Paladin guy from sewers (?))(keeping this character for main party)

IM also open to downloading any mods or anything to make it more fun. I just got ToB today and wanted to start a new party and play it through. Ok well suggestions please.

if oy want an evil charactor i would go with korgan(copper coronet) definently he is my favorite. then comes minks i think. possible edwin(also evil) as i have heard he is best mage in game and for a cleric i would choose vicy(gov dist.) you lose a rep point for getting her because she is also lets just say...
not nice(she's drow) and those are my choices.

5.Minsc if you need a tank, if not, Viconia/Anomen (depending on alignment) for cleric

ok you've got two tanks(i suggest a barbarian for your pc), and a thief. for a balanced party you need magic and healing. I suggest keeping imoen after you get her, that gives you one mage and 3 spots left. after that Ranger/cleric will take care of your healing. maybe a sorcerer(lots of magic power) and a bard(will help your assasain who get less points by not making him use them in pickpocket) extra mage spells, and a minor tank.

1.Barbarian (leaning toward this in the first place)(Chaotic Neutral[these are like insane people, correct?])
2.Assasin(Lawful evil or Chaotic Neutral)
3.Jester (lol) or Blade (never tried)
4.Sorceror
5.Priest of Talos (evil is ok) (maybe dual classed later? if i get viciona)
6.Maybe romance once I'm done with main quests of other chars.. So i was thinking Viciona (dark elf). This is a possibility still havent decided.

I still havent decided on Keldorn I've used him in previous games though he was good.

I have baldurash, ease-of use, both official patches, and dungeon be-gone as the modifacations. Anyone see any thing I should change?

All I know I wanna keep is my Barbarian and Assasin.

I'd go for two spellcasters, preferably sorcerers, because they make the game so much fun [img]smile.gif[/img]

Current party:

Archer, Tashia, Solaufein, Kelsey, Aerie, Cernd. Of course, this is extremely Mage-heavy, and there is no thieving capability. You could change Aerie with Imoen, and have essentially the same party. However, I wanted to romance both Aerie and Tashia, because I have the concurrent romance fix.

Another one that I did:

Assassin, Imoen, Minsc, Anomen, Keldorn, Tashia
