Hello, Im bisy with my cavalier, But I like to know what's a good AC for him to tank?

My cavalier is level 16 now, and has an AC of -15,

he uses the equeliser(sp?), the sentinel+4, Armour of the Heart+3, a TDD cloak with +2 Ac, +3 Saving Trows, boots of speed, that helm which casts that clone spell(lol, forgot both names) and maybe some more I forgot... He has an Dex of 20

1 question:

WHY THE HELL YOU ARE NOT USING CARSOMYR?

Dundee Slaytern 04-08-2003 02:15 PM

Simply because, Xen... He wants a tank, not a cookie-cutter Paladin. In addition, I have refrained from pointing it out, but you have been volatile recently, often making irrelevant and generally unhelpful replies to people's threads.

Try to restrain yourself, Xen. People will not appreciate such antics.

--------

Suggestion to Auramancer:
----

If you want pure raw AC, try the following,

All equipment obtainable in the default SoA game.

Defender of Easthaven +3
Sentinel Shield
Armour of the Hart
Helm of Balduran
Ring of Earth Control
Ring of Gaxx
Cloak of the Sewers
Girdle of Crushing
Boots of Avoidance

Base AC = -2
20 DEX = -6
SShield = -11
DoE = -12
HoB = -13
RoEC = -14
RoG = -16
CotS = -17

This will give you a base of -17 AC, excluding AC Modifiers versus Weapon Type from Full Plate Mail Armour, Girdle and Boots.

I don't like a cavalier with a 2h sword!
I always tough palladins to be defensive guys..

Actions speak louder than words, Xen. Just behave from now on, and everything will be fine.

I'm also playing a Cavalier, and have no intention of using Carsomyr. Personally, I find it unfair that the really good paladin sword is a two handed weapon. I have my character specialized in the sword and shield style, and don't want to give up the use of the shield.

This game really needs a Steal Enchantment spell.
