i have completed umar hills quest and i want to take the rangers stronghold because my character is one.
i go to the rangers cabin but then what?
can anyone tell me how can i take this @##%#$@#$ stronghold step by step
and how will i know that i have got it

Have you talked to the Mayor yet? After you complete the quest.

I assume you have defeated the Shades Lord already.

no i haven t talked to the mayor yet.
if i talk to him i just get it
and how will i know i got it?

<font color=white> If you destroyed the *<font color="#3D2F1B">Shade Lord</font>*, talk to the Umar Hills Mayor, you will know if you have the ranger cabin as stronghold ;) , he will say that it is yours. </font>

<font color="gold">Step by step on how to get the stronghold-quests rolling:

1. Finish the Umar Hills quest (aka destroy the Shade Lord)
2. Go talk to the mayor
3. Go to the cabin to the southwest, and enter it
4. Check what's inside the cabin
5. Go back outside

if you gave the kids ale or swords to the kids. You cant get the rangers strongholds.

I gave them ale (beer?) but no swords and was still able to gain the ranger stronghold.

Though I still don't know what happened to the kids. When I gave them the beer, one of them said something like : "c'mon guys I know where we can go drink that peacefully". Since then, parents are moaning at me and I can't find the kids back.

The cave with the mimic you killed, as well as the umberhulks you likely didnt wipe out. I would get over there real quick-like.

Kill the Shade Lord in Umar and speak with the mayor. You should be able to get the cabin.
