This is the first time I've had a problem getting thru anything in this game. I know it's gotta be simple but...it's alluding me. How do I get past the fire room as soon as I get down the stairs?

What am I missing?

run one person through at a time and get them to the safety of a door. if you have to, cast Haste. time your running until after the roar of the fireball has stopped. and Mirror Image your mages in case they get caught.

Thank you, I'll try it again. I did try that once using the haste spell but my character was toast because I had problems opening the door before the next fire ball. I'll try again and be more persistant. Thanks for your help.

If you run straight across the room from East to West you'll find a door in a short passageway your party can shelter in...

Burobu.......quite the welcome on that west door! LOL
