This post contains major spoilers about different parts of the game. It also includes ToB spoilers. This assumes an installation with SoA, ToB, and Baldurdash with no other mods. I am also not including any outside game/character manipulation programs.

When, Where, & How can I permantly modify my character's stats? Below is what I thought of...am I missing anything?

SoA
Famaliar dies: -1 Con (mage & sorc only)
Dream Sequence in Spellhold: -1 Con, Dex, Wis, or Int (only one, your choice)
Bhaal's Tears / Nine Hells:
Wraith tear: Good: +1 Wis & Cha, Evil: +2 Str
Fear tear: Evil: +2 Con

ToB
Machine of Lum the Mad: +1 to each stat, assuming you know the 'codes'
Deck of many things:
Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian: +1 str
Cleric, Monk, Druid: +1 Wis
Mage, Sorc: +1 Int
Theif, Bard: +1 Dex

Thanks!!!

Welcome to Ironworks!

Something you forgot to mention is the loss of one point of DEX in hell, if a good character. You know, the one where you have to sacrifice yourself for someone...

For some of the primary stats of Mages, it isn't Int.

You need not loose those stats. Spell Imunity: Divination will do wonders for you.

What?

He probably means that stat lowering (in the hell) is a divination spell. Spell Imunity would prevent it.

Cool . I never knew this.

Sure, you can do that, but a) you can still lose stats there and b) you probably aren't supposed to be able to use SI: D to counteract the loss anyway.

I didn't know about that, either. How could you still lose stats if SI: D protects you? And does the same thing work in the dream sequence?
