How do you throw/use these potions?

Telchar of Nogrod 10-03-2001 07:55 PM

You put the potion in your quick slot. Use it like a spell. Click it (it should light up), and point it to where you want to throw it. It's like a Molitoff cocktail. Be carefull. Throw it behind the target and make sure to get out of the way.

Yeah, just like Oils of Fiery Burning. Man, with the Potions of Explosions, Oils of Burning, Necklaces of Missiles, Wands of Fire, memorizing Fireball is pretty much a waste of a spell slot http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Not to mention that it takes a lot of time for a fireball to get out from memory http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif You can use wand/neclace two times and see that your mage just started to move some sparkles within his hands!

Ummmm i you seem to love using wands, i think i dont have to remind you that they have limited charges... And once all used up `zipppp` there gone. Unless u can truthfull tell me that you know that to recharge then you sell them and then rebuy them. Which is not cheap, and i think i remember some people complaining about not having enough money...

Once you get to say, Chapter 3, it's time to stop worrying about money (You're gonna have all you NEED), and by Chapter 5, it's time to start splurging (You're gonna have all you WANT). I've beaten the game twice so far, and both times I had well over 200,000 in the bank....not that it does you a damn bit of good down in the Eldercity.

But it is kind of comforting knowing I could kill Sarevok just by dropping my money on him. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

That figure was for a Good-aligned party; an Evil party would naturally have to scrounge for gold a bit more, higher prices and all.
