My solo kensai has reached ch3/lvl11. And now I need lots of healing potions, cuz I am going to go to Tradesmeet soon. And I have recently paid a rather big sum of money, so now all I have is mere 1000 gold (or even less). Any suggestions on how can I acquire the needed potions?

Roger the Fence has a few potions, but that's not really an option, with limited funds. Instead of finding healing potions, go for some regeneration items. That way, if you survive a tough battle, you can just sit around and wait until you are fully healed :D

Granted, there aren't many regeneration items a solo Kensai can get, which is a bit of a problem. I can't think of any offhand...

I hope someone else can help you with your problem, sorry I couldn't be of greater use.

In fact I don't want to use potions after the combat, but rather in the combat. Lack of defence makes me loose hps real fast.

talking about regeneration items be sure to get the cloak of the sewers!
lets you change into a troll once a day (just shapeshift and wait for full regeneration which goes up fast)

Yeah absolutely great. Regenerate very fast. Use it for that and you get a +1 to AC as well.

Was planning to... but not before I deal with the slaver ship. BTW, Horror Bhaalspawn ability makes wonders when it comes to killing lots of low-level monsters... I really like it [img]smile.gif[/img]

Just as an aside, what is the enchantment on Dak'kons Zerth Blade? And also, where is Malakar+2 located?

To get infinite healing potions, install the tactics mod. You get so many fights against identically equipped bad guys with LOADS of healing potions that it isnt funny. I actually SLEEP at night, rather than risk getting yet another identical fight with a group of assassins.

They are both +2 weapons. Malakar is located in the Asylum maze.

I honestly don't think a solo Kensai has a chance against the Tactics Bandits at lvl 11. The high-level encounters are pretty damn nasty, even for a well-equipped high level party, a Kensai would commit suicide attempting to go up against them [img]smile.gif[/img] Even the mid-level encounters will probably be way too tough.
