This should be in ToB forum but i will try to help you.

Shadowkeeper is a editor for saved games.

CLUA is a cheat conosle. To enable it you must find baldur.ini file and to this:
Debug Mode=1 and it must be written this way. You must write this beetwen program options and installing.

Just to elaborate Xen's instruction: Find baldur.ini file in your Baldur's Gate 2 folder, open it and find Program Options heading. Write Debug Mode=1 below it (case sensitive), save and exit.

Start the game and press Ctrl+Space to open the console itself. Now write into it:

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("PLOT02J") is Baalor's Heart
CLUAConsole:CreateItem("PLOT02C") is a Scepter Gem

Copy the line and Ctrl+V it into the console.

And wirte correct as Vedran said. The console is very sensetive about this things.

For this, Shadowkeeper is easier to use. No need to remember codes and that, just scroll through the list and select what you need. As long as you can restrain yourself from going overboard with it, it can completely ruin the game if you use it to much. No fun if you have 9999HP, 127% all resists etc etc.

Yes. I too prefer Shadowkeeper over CLUA becuase of that reason. And I use Shadowkeeper very little times.

True, but for SK you need to save, exit, alter, then load again. For the console, you just have to alttab, look for the code, and alttab back.

It is kind of a personal preference. I use SK only to change portraits :D .

Xen 06-20-2003 03:48 PM

Yes that is good too. I do not like some portraits. For example:i like jaheira`s portrait from BG1 more than that from BG2

just to clearify...it wouldnt be right to post it in ToB either, because, i am playing SoA...c my point m8?

pcgiant 06-21-2003 01:58 AM

Aaaah, but you're giving away ToB spoilers, not SoA ones. See the difference?
