Okay, I have Kagain in my party, Where is the caravan he is looking for?

The caravan doesn't actually exist anywhere. You can take him to look for it in the area south of FAI and he will give up but stick around. I have heard that basically all you have to do is leave Beregost with him and the quest is satisfied but I personally cannot verify that.
