Wow, this ring is a lot more powerful than I'd ever thought. As I said in a previous post, I was able to charm monsters other than elementals with it, and now I have the proof. My Kensai has this ring equiped, and before I go to face Bodhi, I'm go to get the Daystar. I use the ring to charm the lich and have him cast Imprisonment on himself, this is great [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

How did you get this Ring before chapter 5? You need the Ring of Fire, which can only be found in the Underdark. Of course, I'm just going by my experience, because I do my round of Lich-stomping before facing Bodhi in chapter 3. [img]smile.gif[/img]

U charmed a lich and told it to imprision it self???? Man that must've been real funny... Do u get the XP tho?

I didn't, I was talking about the final battle with Bodhi there buddy ;)

You need the Items Upgrade Mod to get it, combining the Ring of Air, Fire, and Earth Elemental Control along with scrolls of Protection against Fire, Electricity, and Petrification. Too bad I didn't get the Xp for the lich though, oh well, fighting off that hoard of Beholders made up for it :D

Ring of Elemental Mastery
This ring combines the might of elements of Earth, Air and Fire and grants the user dominion over the creatures that hail from those planes. This ring was created for Equilis and its fame will no doubt grow with <PRO_HIMHER>.

STATISTICS:

Charm Elemental three times per day for 60 seconds (no save).
Summon an Earth, an Air and a Fire Elemental (once per day, 300 seconds, always friendly).
Improved Invisibility one per day for 60 seconds.
Fire Resistance: 50% bonus
Electrical Resistance: 50% bonus
Armor Class: +1 bonus
Saving Throws: +1 bonus

It charms other stuff cuz it wasn't correctly programmed IIRC. Like the ring of earth control not only chramrs earth elementals, but also other 'giant' creatures.

Hmmm, certain creatures can't be charmed like dragons and such, all it will do is stall them for a couple of seconds but thats about it.
