Just curious... I was reading someone else's questions about the Multiple Strongholds mod, and I got curious:

How does that work with the Druid SH?

I've never played a druid, but I've always been under the assumption that you need to be a druid to do it, because of some fight that can only occur if you have a druid in your party, or... ahhh crap what's his name? The guy you take from the cell to help with the quest? I did his quest once and had him fight the girl at the end and left him there to take care of the grove. That was it... is there more to it, and can I do it if I'm not a Druid?

While I'm asking, did I miss anything by leaving ol' what's his name behind? Was there more to his quest?

Sorry this is so vague, but with my memory, that's the best I can do :D

Basically, the script of the multi-stronghold means it overrides the class restrictions of the stronghold dialogue. The program doesn't know what it's saying (about you being a great defender of nature as a Kensai->Thief ) and you can do what you like. At least I think so...that would be the most natural way to do it.

I hope that's how it works... I'd love to play a necromancer who takes control of the grove and uses it to conduct all kind of weird experiments on the critters there. Maybe I'll get started on that one as soon as possible and find out for sure

Oh, just noticed True Moose is from Calgary... I've wanted to move there for like 12 years now... no idea why, so don't ask. Just do :D

Get ready for a disappointment: the Druid stronghold is even worse than the unimproved Thief stronghold. You go on 1.5 quests. Whee.

If not anything, you atleast didn't miss much from not keeping Cernd in your party. He does have a new quest, but there is neither any good reward nor much XP to be gathered in it. If you want spoilers on it, tell me. ;)

No spoilers necessary, thanks tho. I'll just find out on my own. THo if it IS as dissappointing as it sounds, he's going to get smacked around as soon as his quest is completed. Ahhhh, the good ol 'disarm and duke it out' battle royals. I love 'em!

Cernd's quest is more about background story, then reward hunting. Quite a tale I will say.
