I have finished all the Drow quests, and for the first time betrayed Adalon and allowed the demon summoning to take place, now i'm just wondering after visiting the Beholders and Illithids to kill them all will I be able to get back to the surface... And does it involve killing that self righteous <font color="#00FF00">SoaB</font>.

If you give the Demon lord the real eggs after
Phaere and Ardulace are gone you can ask him for a tithe in return.
Asking him for a powerful magical item yields the Halberd +4:
Blackmist, and asking him for safe exit from the Underdark will get
you just that. Ask him for anything else however, and he attacks you.

Yes, you can get to the surface without having to face Adalon again. There IS a another tunnel beside the Beholder and Illithid tunnels, but it's a bit hard to see. Try casting Clairvoyance on the main Underdark map, or poke around near the entrance to the Sfvirneblin camp. Explore that new tunnel, and see what you find. ;)
