Is Katana and Short Sword, dual weilded, a good idea? I intend to use Dak'kon's and the Short Sword of Mask, and possibly the C. Fury if my THACO isn't good enough (I hate that katana, though). Female Blade, stats are 17/19/15/18/15/19. Imported from BGI :D

Yep, that's a pretty good choice. Kundane would work well in the off-hand too. I tend to always put Crom Faeyr in the off-hand slot, but short swords are a good fit too, especially in the expansion. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I don't like the idea of chucking a hammer across the room. I'm using Kundane until I get the SSoM.

I'd prefer to use Angurvadal for the STR, anyway..sure, you get it later, but oh well.

Just get a girdle for the strength. BTW, is Dakkon's gonna be your final weapon choice, because I would hate to see you run through the game with a +2 weapon in your main hand. [img]smile.gif[/img]

well, there arent that many high-enchantment-level katanas in the game...i would swap it for c-fury or Hindos doom, at least for those times when you need a higher enchantment to hit something(a balor, for example)

Don`t worry about your THACO,becuase you just cast Tenser`s Transformation and you have the same THACO as the Fighter of that level.

Blade is over-powerd. When i soloed Blade i kiled 95% of enemies in the Game just with Mislead and MMM.

Hindo's and SSoM are my final weapons. Immunity to death is sweet :D

Mislead is my favorite spell, lol. Or one of my top 5, anyway.

I've been playing a blade for a month now, and I haven't found that much use for Dakkon Zerth's blade. Yeah, the extra spells are great, but I don't use my blade as an attack caster. I use most of his slots for self-buffing, because I see my blade as more of a finesse fighter than a backup mage. I go with short swords, because of the short sword ( at least I think it is a S.Sword) that gives you immunity to hold allows you to move while in defensive spin. I also like long swords, and only go for katana for CF. But again, not for DZblade. With Edwin and his amulet and a ring of wizardry, and the robes of vecna, I've got all the magic attack power I need.

In that case, I have a few choices.

1. Scimitar for Belm/Usuno's Blade/Water's Talon
2. Long Sword for Angurvadal/Adjatha the Drinker/Blade of Roses (too many)
3. Axe for Axe of the Unyeilding and Azure Edge
4. Dagger for Dagger of the Star/Stilleto of the Demarchess
