Hi! How does the Big Red knows who you are? And how does he know your father and all?

Gangrell 08-06-2003 02:16 PM

Who are you talking about Xen?

Firestormalpha 08-06-2003 02:29 PM

Xen, it's really very simple. Big Red or Mr. F. whatever you want to call him is a dragon, and as such is both "immensly" powerful and highly intelligent. He has power to control his cronies who bring him his information. Also he's been around far longer than you, and longer than some of the gods if I remember correctly. Anyways why wouldn't a powerful dragon keep himself entertained by keeping up with the doings of a Bhaalspawn who is likely doing the opposite that their daddy would have liked them to do?

Ohhh, that Big Red, I was getting confused with another post that was talking about the same thing, must've been about the Firetooth.

Some spoilers most likely about Gorion/Big Red

If I recall, Gorion and a bunch of Harpers 'humiliated' a Red Dragon a while ago. Big Red was that dragon, from what I remember of some discussion on this board a while ago. If so, then he is merely carrying out his Draconic Vengeance upon the 'child' of Gorion. Dragons live a long time, I would guess they have a long memory

So your saying that Gorion wouldn't want you to rescue your half sister and reclaim your lost souls?

Lilarcor, Grammar is correct in what he says, I was refering to Bhaal. It's been awhile since I've played so I forgot that Gorion and Harpers had given Firk a piece of humble pie. Yes, dragons do have long memories and even longer grudges. I would theorize that some will remember that they want revenge against someone longer than they bother to recall the reason for it.
