i just installed Throne of bhaal
and every time i try to open it
a screen shows up saying sorry cannot
open bahbah due to line 843.
What is the problem? Do i need
a new copy? what do i need to do
about it?

Here is a sample of what the [Alias] section should look like for a full install:

This should let you start the game.

but no listing for 843. Searching the bioware BG2 tech forum dosent turn up anything on that line number either, so I guess 834 is what you meant.
