i met that undead knight guy, he asked me to kill him, then he just vanished before i could raise my sword, apparently i was spose to get some armour off him, its a little hard when he bails as soon as i reached for my sword?

by ruins, do you mean, the underground area, or outside in the firewine bridge area, if outside, no i havent done a full scope of the area yet

IIRC, your not suposet o kill any undead knight guy in teh first place...and you shoudl probably look inside teh dungeon more,a s the outside really is nothing speical ^^

I've always encountered the Undead Knight before the Ghost Knights....but that may be because that's the way I cleared out Firewine the first time, so that's the way I do it every time. Barring the obvious possibility that his vanishing was caused by a bug, Eric the Red, the Undead Knight shouldn't be any further away than right around the corner--the visibility thing doesn't work perfectly, especially in cramped places. He will certainly NOT be outside--no NPCs can leave their area, ever, except in a few cases where they are removed from one area and re-appear in another.
