I have just killed the guys in the second floor of one of the inns in the promenade area (pebblebasher or something). Then, I travel to the docks district and the screen says

"News has reached the authorities of your misdeeds"

Or something similar, and five or six strong knights all with "Sir" infront of their name turn up and kill me. This is my second time through the game and this did not happen the first time. Is this a result of the BaldurDash patch?

It would be helpful to know where you are in the game (at what stage).

Did you take out any "civilians" recently? (I know there aren't any in that particular area).

The last person this happened to had started, but not finished, Windspear Hills (as in - he killed the knights but Garren had not yet spoken to the Order to clear things up).

It is definately that or a very low reputation

Having a "Despised" Reputation will get you in-city ambushes, but that group is of 5 Amnish Centurions and 2 Cowled Enforcers. The party of 6 "Sirs" comes courtesy of coming back to Athkatla before clearing your name in the Windspear Hills.

Man, you guys are geniuses. That is exactly what has happened. Well I suppose ill have to go back and complete Windspear Hills then :/. I couldnt be bothered so I thought Id go back to Athkatla but that would mean running into these guys I guess oh well thanks anywys [img]smile.gif[/img]


P.S. What happens if you successfully kill the knights?

I doubt that anything good will ever come out of it, so either reload or do not do it next time... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Black Baron, i think it would be wise to take out the ToB NPC in your sig..especially if you post on SoA forums, some people dont know what happens with that NPC fully [img]redface.gif[/img]

I hate unnecessary spoilers ;)

If you have a paladin in your party, then you will want to complete Windspear Hills ;)
