ive lost all touch with the game...
what are the must get items and weapons?
(in particular for my mage,edwin , korgan and viconia )

besides the robe of vecna , the ring of wizardry etc i remember where those are(i think)

yea buuut what i dont happening is ... *finishing the asylum* moving on to the underdark .... then hey wait a second wasnt there something i shouldve gotten back in the asylum during the tests ;)

know what i mean.. i forgot all about the items tho its gettin back to me now. i dont wanna miss out on the rings of wizardry and that kinda coolness, ooow i just remembered the staff of the magi :D

no but seriously i just wanna finish the game completely with getting all the good items,and selling that witch i dont want. without having to rediscover every single bit, because that isnt gonna happen im on a race for tob.
i had to break up my last tob game because shadowkeeper killed my saves and they were unfixable(nobody here could help me). i finished every quest in soa and had every item in that game,
and i had everything i could get or atleast wanted.

im trying to get where i left off , but with the same xp, spare weapons and money etc. and i dont wanna use shadowkeeper i need to get back in the mood anyway.

so i could rephrase, what are the musthave items for korgan ,edwin,viconia and my sorcerer,

In order I think that they should have: (If you can get them)
Choose a couple for each to your tastes
Korgan: Hangards Axe (or Rifthome), Another axe of your choice (+2 or better), ring of gaxx, with Shadow Dragon Armor.
Edwin: Amulet of power, Staff of Rhynn, ring of acuity,ring of regeneration, and drow elven chain +3.
Viconia: Drow elven chain +3, Scimitar +3, Greenstone Amulet (or Shield amulet), and Saving grace (if she can handle it{I've forgotten a little, cause its been about 4 months since my last bg2:soa session.)

I would take that FAQ with a pinch of salt, since there are some factual errors (give Cernd armour. Right. There are some subtle errors, but this one was too glaring. Have I mentioned that he suggested putting 2* in the Long Sword proficiency for Haer'Dalis? Has this guy even try out his own combinations?) in it, and what seems to be a lack of understanding on how dualclassing works in terms of combat benefits (which contributes to equipment decisions).

In egervari's defense, ( ;) )I should point out that one of Haer'Dalis's *.CRE files makes him start out with 2 stars in Long Sword. Nonsensical, just like a lot of things associated with him, but happily BaldurDash (or was it Forgotten Wars?) is fixing it.

As for equipment and advice, I agree with Armen: How many times do you get a chance to play the game for the first time? Revel in it, I'm not going to spoil you! I will say this, though: Backup Fighter. Thief. Possible backup Priest (Druid preferred).
